we had such a great time on block island. it's about an hour ferry ride from the coast of R.I. the day we left my body decided to get sick and chris and i couldn't fall asleep til 3 am, however that wasn't going to stop us from getting to this island that people raved about. we had to go! {oh and the fact we couldn't get a refund on our hotel, ha ha} Wednesday wasn't the warmest day. it was gloomy and raining and kinda cold! we thought oh boy....i hope Thursday is better.
we made the best of Wednesday. walking along the beach and checking out the little shops. i took a nap while chris explored much of the island. we had a great dinner and fell asleep to the ocean waves....oh heaven!
Thursday.......was amazing!!!!!! the sky was blue the ocean was perfect. the birds were chirping, i was feeling better.....and the SUN was shining! we had breakfast, got on our bikes and took advantage of this beautiful day.......

wow i wanna be there! that big building in the first pic an the white tables reminds me of the hotel in "Somewhere in Time." I dunno if you've seen that movie but it made me smile! hope all is well! i love watching your cute baby bump grow!!
Finally found your blog from Jen's. I love how you guys just pick up and go out exploring out here, that is so awesome! I heard about block Island when we first moved here, but have since forgotten about it, thanks for the reminder it looks really neat. Are you guys going to be in town for Memorial Day?
