love my kids......

i love my kids... it has been so fun having two! not everyday is bliss, but i wouldn't have it any other way. we have been staying in cause of the cold and cause i don't want to lug two kids around. so i have been doing projects around the house. i have now limited myself to one a day and if i get more done then great, but no pressure. i just always need to be doing something. i have made dish wash soap, spray painted a ton, cleaned, played, cooked....next i will be making my own body wash and deodorant. kinda excited about that! we celebrated my hub's 32 birthday last sunday! i told him he was getting old....he agreed. ha ha love that man more than anything and am grateful everyday he chose me to be his wife. i am truly blessed! love you honey! xoxo

3 weeks already.......

I can't believe Marni is 3 WEEKS! so much has happened. I love having two kids to take care of! I love them so much! i honestly can't wait to have more kids. i am not saying everyday is a picnic, we have our good days and bad days. i put my little boy in time out....he is in a biting phase, that calls for time out in my book. baby girl likes her 3am feedings and dean is getting 5 teeth. however, i love everything that comes with motherhood, the good and the bad, and i don't like to complain about it. It's what i am on earth for. And i know i have my hands full!!! LOL we have had 3 visitors in 3 weeks and have loved spending every minute with them. the first week was grandma daniels, second week, my mom, and the third week my sister kara! While my mom was here we decorated my tree, got a new dresser for deans room,$40! also purchased a lamp $6, and cleaned my carpets! it really was so fun having them around! Now i will be on my own and i am ready to take it on! Thanks you guys, I love you so much! Thanksgiving was fabulous! thanks to my friend Amy for hosting it at her apartment! All the food was delicious! it has been hard being away for the holidays, but i think it will be also fun to just focus on our growing family. kids definitely make the holidays more exciting...well for me at least. have a great weekend! we will!! xoxo

Dean b and Marni Lou

My dean b and Marni Lou are 13 1/2 months apart. and so far....into it a week...it hasn't been too bad. My recovery was so much faster....though I still have 10 LBS to loose....UGH!....sleeping, feeding, and healing....WAY better! I am hoping the 3rd will be EVEN faster to recover from...but we'll see. And maybe a bigger gap...lets say 16 months?? LOL. It has been nice to have my MIL here for the week. Dean just loves her around. Thanks Grandma Daniels!! We will miss you!
Marni is still in her sleeping phase though she has been much more awake and alert the last couple days. She is already over her birth weight. She eats very well and loves to snuggle. I love this since my 28 pounder doesn't love it as much as he used too. Dean is going to be such a sweet big brother. he gets so excited to see her in the morning and loves to give her kisses...on the top of her head. He has been a bit more tempermental....though he is getting all of his molars. Poor thing, bet that doesn't feel good. i love these two and am excited to watch them grow together. I think i have found my calling. I love being a mom! xoxo

13 months and walking!

My little boy turned 13 months on the 20Th.
He is such a joy to have in our family.
a few things i want to document....
-waves bye-bye..and says it.
-claps.
-gives open mouth kisses on cue.
-helps unload the dishwasher....I am not kidding. he will hand me all the utensils one by one.
-helps put clothes in the dryer and shuts the door when i tell him.
-when we say "shut it" he will shut the door/cabinet.
-knows where the bath is.
-when we say lets read books. he goes straight to the rocking chair and points to where his books are.
-he walks more than he crawls now!
-loves "kidsongs" movies.

a little update...

we have been busy at the daniels home. last week was one for the books. dean took his first steps!!!!! so awesome, i was preparing for a relief society lesson, and trying to win a facebook competition which I ENDED UP WINNING! Thanks so much for every ones help. The week before chris had Columbus day off so we drove down to the beach one last time. Um yep it was 80 degrees on 10/10/11. Who would of thought??
whats left before the baby comes in like oh 17 days!! or so....
Visit sis in Boston, a couple doctor appointments left...man they get old. baby shower...so i am told.
My brother comes home, from Australia!! a birthday, some on call days, Halloween, and my mother in law comes! Wow! and i still need to wash clothes, set up her bed and get a couple more things in order.
I am excited for my "BUSY" life that everyone keeps telling me I will be having. I can't wait for her to arrive. Um and ya we still don't have a name....I will let you know.

Grandparents come and a party for Dean

we have had a busy week. it has been full of lots of fun! dean turned one, in laws came on Wednesday, day in Newport RI, planning for baby boys party, a 24 hr hospital stay, the actual party, grandparents leave, Sad...

He is ONE!

I don't like writing much, and especially on blog posts. I just wanted to say Happy birthday to my little boy. It is a bitter sweet day for me. I have been a little emotional today. i have loved everyday i get to spend with him! i absolutely adore this bundle of joy. he is seriously so happy. which in turn makes me happy. He is my world. and i love that i am his mama. Love you dean boy! you have made me so happy and have taught me so much already. xoxo

Product Junkie???

if it goes on your face....i have got to have it, or i have probably tried it. lets just say i'm a little bit of an addict. i am a snob about my product or brand, though i have had to lower my standers while the hub is in grad school. but for reals.....creams, lotions, serums, masks, honey, yogurt...yes that is right some food is great for the face! I am currently in the market for something for crows feet (wrinkles around the eyes) and something for my forehead since i can't have my BOTOX yet!
I may need some help....like rehab or something.....
